An Open Letter to All California Representatives... "Spend 1 Day in a California Public School"
In order to maintain educational programs, we are raising $250,000 for San Carlos Charter Learning Center-- the oldest charter school in California.
It is the Dark Ages for California Public Schools. The California Legislature has gutted education funding in California to levels not seen in over 25 years. We are running to Sacramento with letters for every California State Representative. These letters are invitations written by kids around the state. They are asking every California Senator and Assemblyman to "Spend 1 Day" in a public school in their home district because we want them to see first hand how their state budget cuts have devastated California's public schools.
High performing public schools are a priority in every community. No matter where you live, write your congressmen and invite them to visit your local public schools so they can see first hand what is happening in your local public schools!
